Worried about aging parents and trying to figure out your options?

As a Case Manager RN, I helped people access subsidized care for years before becoming a caregiver during my parents’ final four years. I wrote a book called What Do We Do About Mom? to help others find both information and caregiving insights, including how to set healthy boundaries.

This led to taking over Keystone Eldercare Solutions after Wendy Johnstone, a Gerontologist, started the company 16 years earlier. We provide private case management for local clients, with nurse oversight, accompaniment to appointments, and communication with families who often live far away.

I also use both my professional and personal experience, along with creative problem solving, in consultations to develop a plan based on each family’s top worries, story, and values. I’m passionate about the creative use of homes to support aging in place and have enjoyed speaking engagements where I share ideas about using technology to support aging.

After 38 years as an RN, owning a business has been a steep learning curve, and I value your support as I grow. On my days away, I love to kayak, walk at Seal Bay most days, and listen to tons of podcasts and audiobooks to avoid discussing politics with my husband.
