As a Manager at MNP, Valeries favourite part of her role is connecting with people and supporting them in reaching their goals. Whether those are business or career development goals, she wants to hear their story and offer support and guidance where she can.

On the business side that can mean preparing financial statements and tax returns for small businesses and helping get the various reporting requirements dealt with, but alongside that is the opportunity to listen and offer support as you work toward your goals and through challenges.

On the career development side, that means coming alongside and supporting accounting and potential accounting students throughout their education journeys. Having the opportunity to mentor students and see their successes continues to be a very fulfilling part of both Valeries role at MNP and my personal life.

On a personal note, Valerie has lived in the Comox Valley her whole life and enjoys living close to so much natural beauty. Outside of work, she can often be found walking one of the many beaches in the area. Valerie loves the peaceful feeling when the weather and ocean are calm, and the invigorating feeling on the stormy days when wind is blowing and the waves are crashing along the shoreline.
