Linda Trevor leads with both purpose and precision as Executive Director of the Filberg Heritage Lodge and Park Association, where she has guided the organization for just over four years.
With a deep-rooted passion for the non-profit sector, Linda brings a thoughtful, community-centred approach to her work—one that balances heritage preservation with long-term sustainability.
Originally settling in the Comox Valley in 2007, Linda quickly developed a strong connection to the region and its people. That connection continues to shape her leadership style today. She understands that spaces like Filberg Park are more than just beautiful landscapes—they are shared community assets, rich with history and meaning. Linda holds a Master’s degree in Professional Communication from Royal Roads University, an academic foundation that informs her strategic thinking, stakeholder engagement, and ability to tell compelling stories about the organization’s impact.
Her professional background also includes nine years with Pattison Media, where she honed her skills in communications, marketing, and relationship building—experience that now plays a key role in advancing Filberg’s mission. Under her leadership, the organization has continued to grow its visibility, strengthen community partnerships, and focus on the restoration and stewardship of its historic assets.
Linda is particularly driven by the challenge of ensuring that heritage spaces remain vibrant and relevant for future generations. Colleagues and community members alike recognize Linda for her collaborative mindset and steady leadership. She is someone who listens carefully, acts thoughtfully, and remains committed to making a meaningful difference.
For Linda, this work is more than a role—it’s a calling grounded in community, history, and the belief that non-profit organizations can bring people together in lasting ways.
