Chantale is a Registered Clinical Counsellor and the founder of Nama Counselling, bringing over 27 years of experience in acute medicine and mental health to her practice. Specializing in support for military and RCMP veterans, healthcare providers and first responders, Chantale provides a sophisticated therapeutic space for those navigating high-intensity roles, burnout, and trauma.

Her clinical approach is uniquely informed by a dual-lens academic foundation. Holding Master’s degrees in both human factors engineering and counselling psychology, she bridges the gap between systemic performance and psychological resilience. This allows her to analyze how high-pressure environments impact the individual while applying evidence-based frameworks—including EMDR, CBT, and Polyvagal Theory—to foster long-term mental well-being.

Her career is rooted in deep clinical expertise, beginning as a Respiratory Therapist. This frontline experience provided a profound understanding of the human experience in its most critical moments. Transitioning into leadership, Chantale managed healthcare operational teams of over 100 staff, operated a community hospital, and established a sleep laboratory, giving her first-hand insight into the executive pressures her clients often face.

Now focusing on private practice and clinical supervision, Chantale advocates for the "Integrated Professional." She blends operational rigor with a commitment to gentle, reflective support, helping high-performing individuals move beyond survival mode into sustainable growth. Her goal is to ensure that professional excellence is built upon a foundation of genuine well-being and nervous system regulation.
