The Comox Valley Women's Business Network is an energetic group of business and professional women in the Comox Valley who have a dinner meeting on the 2nd Thursday of each month (excluding July and August). Meetings are an opportunity to network, hear top caliber speakers and market your business.
We have a membership base of 90 - 110 women, and they each
bring a wealth of experience they enjoy sharing with each
other. Our members include entrepreneurs, business owners
and professionals in many fields. The richness of our network
is partly due to its diversity. We have people from many sectors,
including retail, service, manufacturing, the arts, health,
government, not-for-profit and many more.

May 8th
The May meeting of the Comox Valley Women’s Business Network will
consist of the Annual General Meeting and a presentation on Identity Theft.
Our May meeting is the time of year when you, the members, get to elect
a board of directors for the 2008-2009 year, review the financial records
of the organization and witness the presentation of the Minerva and the Bursary
awards.
As a special presentation, a member of the Courtenay RCMP Detachment will
talk to us about the important issue of identity theft.
Members $22 non-members $27 - seats must be reserved by Monday 5th May.
June Wind Up
Tickets will be on sale for the June windup at Casanova's Cusine & Cocktails
in the Port Augusta Hotel in Comox. Members $35 and guests $40. Ticket price
includes choice of entrée, dessert and a drink and, of course, entertainment
in the Piano Bar.

We have a
business card file box that contains business cards of members please
bring a few extra cards to put in the box. We will pass it around and share
the cards.If you are looking for a service you are welcome to pull out the card
and contact that person.

at the next meeting. We will have a basket at the check in desk to put them
in. These items will go to the transition society.
