About Our Speaker - Bob Wells

My Tech Guys

A self-professed computer geek, devoted family man, and a City Councillor, Bob Wells moved to the Comox Valley in 2003 with his wife Michelle to live, play, work and raise their family. The couple now has three active children and, as a result, Bob can often be found climbing the walls in Cumberland, kayaking or cycling around the Valley with family.

Bob is the owner of My Tech Guys where his official title is ‘The Extreme Geek’. With a wealth of experience in Windows / Mac / LINUX, Networking, Home Theatre, Cable Systems, Project Management, and home renovations, Bob considers himself the “Swiss Army” Computer Tech.

In addition to his work in the wonderful world of technology, Bob has been a Courtenay City Councillor since 2014, was appointed to the CVRD Board in 2014, and he gives back to the community by volunteering with a wide range of nonprofit organizations.

While family comes first for Bob, he is also passionate about small business, fine arts, theatre, vehicles and having fun. (And anything techy!)
