Next Meeting

March 11th is Movie Night!

Reserve your place for an evening with a difference. Tonight we are pleased to present The GLOW Project™ movie.

The Glow Project is a program that has been created to inspire and empower women. It is, among other things, about being your best self. A major aspect of the program, which includes training, presentations and more, is the Glow Project movie.

Highly acclaimed around the world, this full feature film showcases a dynamic group of top corporate achievers and successful women business owners. These women openly share their lowest lows and how they tapped into their GLOW to achieve success on their own terms. Prepare to be moved by this film which is the foundation of the GLOW Project™ and is being heralded around the world as “required viewing for every woman on the planet”.

Top women’s associations, such as Ladies Who Launch, Women’s Leadership Exchange and others, strongly endorse and give high praise to the GLOW Project™. Women everywhere (including CVWBN!) are hosting GLOW movie screenings in their homes, businesses and churches. Check it all out at www.glowproject.org

In conjunction with this screening we are running a Laundry Basket campaign! Our goal is to fill ten laundry baskets with goods and clothing in support of less fortunate women in our community. The Comox Valley Women’s Resource Centre and the Comox Valley Transition Society will benefit from your donations.

So please! Bring along any or all of the items listed below for the laundry baskets. A $10 donation is highly acceptable in lieu of goods or clothing. The challenge is on – can our members fill 10 laundry baskets? We certainly think so – please prove us right!

The format for the evening will be almost the same as regular meetings; doors will open at 5.30 for networking followed by CVWBN business. However dinner will be served at the slightly earlier time of 6.15pm. At 7pm we welcome members from other women’s groups who will find the movie of interest. We are asking for donations from these guests also. The movie has a running time of 78 minutes.

Please remember those all important donations, business cards and to reserve your seat for dinner by calling 250 898 0244. Thank you!
