Celebrate Harvest at the Native Son's Hall

Whether it's food, our community or a wonderful network of talented women, we have a lot to celebrate.

Join us for dinner, an evening of networking and a spectacular silent auction with part of the proceeds going to the St. Joseph's Pediatric Unit. Proceeds from the bar will be used by the Kin Club for their local programming.

7:00 (ish) - Program includes 2 spotlight speakers, networking activity (with prizes and surprises) & silent auction (See the growing auction prize list, below)

Welcome Back Networking Activity
Kick the new networking year off with a fun evening designed to get the group back into the swing of things. Even if you've been a member for a few years, there's always something new to learn about people! Network. Meet New People. Laugh. Don't forget your business cards.

Spotlight Speakers
Berni Hansen (ABC Printing) and Lenore Lowe (Imago Creative; "Social Marketing: It's Not About Facebook") have the spotlight this month. (I've heard Lenore's speech @ Toastmasters... file that little fact, you'll need it during another part of the meeting. You're welcome.)

September Silent Auction
We're building on the success of last September's "welcome back" raffle prize event with a Spectacular Silent Auction. Prizes in this auction are products and services donated by Women's Business Network members and other businesses in the Comox Valley. This list just keeps on growing... if you've got a product or service you'd like to share (and promote!), it's never too late to donate. Contact our VP and Programming Coordinator, Jenny Deters: jennydeters@ohspa.ca to donate a prize.

Berni Hansen

Berni Hansen is one of the owners of ABC Printing and Signs -  an innovative local printing company, that makes customer service and quality printing their top priority.  They strive to be environmentally conscience in business, and offer green choices for their customers’ printing needs.  From business cards to signs and car wraps, ABC is continually adding to their long list of services in order to keep up with their customers needs.  Come to the September meeting and hear about some of the exciting new products that they are just launching.  

Lenore Lowe

With 20 years of experience, Lenore loves to share her passion for design while helping her clients promote their “wares.” She says, “good design is like good chocolate: it pleases the eye, engages your emotions, delights your sense of taste and satisfies your desires. Lenore is a commercial artist, illustrator and promotional writer focusing on green and social marketing. She started her business Imago Creative two years ago and feels fortunate to be raising her two kids with her husband Brad in this amazing community.
